The Sacred Heart Catholic Church ( 1867) was moved from the ghost town of Rodney to its present location at the G. G. Military Park. It was once described as the "biggest bee hive in the state". While unoccupied for a number of years the bees took over and used the walls of the church as a housing for their honey combs. Services are now once again being held in this beautiful historic landmark.
