The above image was made at Windsor Ruins located west of Port Gibson, Mississippi. The white speck you see in the background is our site historian and location coordinator Don Johnson. As you can see he is dwarfed by the columns of the ruins. Click on the image to read about and view images of this Mississippi historical site

High rises, malls and subdivisions are going up overnight where farmlands, old forests, rivers and streams use to exist. Many of these areas contain lesser known historical sites. We are not against progress but we must control growth and expansion where it threatens to put in danger historical sites that tell our story as a people and nation.

The Historical Sites section is designed to create awareness of the need to preserve lesser known historical sites. Get out and visit the sites that interest you. Take your family and carry your camera. Make it an educational as well as fun experience.
