     This early morning shot made from the beach side of Gulfport harbor was worth missing a couple hours sleep. The air was still, the water calm and the only life stirring was a lone gull circling in search of a meal. The sun was a beautiful orange orb and it's early rays influenced the colors of the overhead clouds. The image was made with a Nikon F5, 20-35mm 2.8 lens on a tri-pod and the shutter tripped with a remote cable release.
