- Ocean Springs Bridge Rubble
Hurricane Katrina had no respect for concrete and steel bridges. The Biloxi to Ocean Springs bridge was erected after Camille (1969) destroyed the old bridge. Beyond the bridge rubble is Deer Island which runs almost parallel to U.S. 90. The Biloxi side of the bridge resembled a giant accordion.
